Finally took a break from the lab to pack my stuffs and get ready for my longggg trip!

Ok more or less updated all my lists.

Going off to Japan in slightly less than 2 weeks' time for studies..gosh i haven't packed A SINGLE THING..argh! the yen is still so high now..can't change my money too..oh man..i think i need a few days' break from lab soon to settle all my administrative stuffs before my trip.

Coming saturday, there's going to be a junior meet senior session @ sp. It's hard to coordinate when I'm so busy with work, and most people are not responding/replying..sheesh..

Ok i'll post some comments on the current series of shows i'm watching in a while..let me go change the site image first..the odd colored bars at the top of the image is irritating me

hahaha..ok actually the topic was an item in a game i used to play..just thought that it seems fitting now..planned several major things to do in this coming year! (ok i was lazy to implement at the start of 2009, so let's just use cny as my new start)

to begin with..i decided to maximise the time in school..i had just found a prof for mentorship..going to meet him after the hols..hopefully it will turn out fine!

im planning to do some relief teaching after exams too..felt like experiencing how it's like to teach..as well as get some extra cash to enjoy in japan(that is, if i get my gss)..and for you guys out there who are about to give me funny comments - no i do not plan to be a full-time teacher..lecturer perhaps..as im more of a lab rat (no punt intended)

all these aside..lets continue on some other random stuffs

i can see my grandma's really proud that so far in my generation..all 5 of us who are eligible for uni (age wise) made it into uni..she's really happy when she suddenly commented that she had 5 uni grandchildren - out of which 2 have graduated already. it's a wonderful feeling..to be able to make someone proud of you..

on a more gloomy topic..i could also notice that age has caught up with many of us..on one spectrum my younger cousins all looked and thought more maturely..and the other..signs of aging are really beginning to show on the more elderly relatives..i understand that this is inevitable..but it just felt that..everything seemed so yesterday..sigh..i guess this is the basis for the creation of mad scientists bent on changing the courses of events eh..

and on a final note..a part of me is seriously lost..should i just hold on..or should i just move on? i always thought of human relations as a pair of interwining curves - so now comes the question..if there is a real and unique solution for these 2 curves in the interval [now,infinity)? oh well..if only i knew..things would be easier..

man im damn sick of doing the stupid maths tutorial..killing my precious brain cells unnecessarily!

as a side note..was notified that 1 of my shipments from japan have been shipped! hopefully by friday i would be able to collect it from my friend..hmm..

now contemplating whether i should buy the kotobukiya hinagiku..it looks great!

as for the newly announced ayumu..guess i'll wait to see if there's any special bargains..sigh

space space space!

ok i spent 2 hrs rearranging my cupboard..hahaha..apparently i managed to create a lot of space!

now i have 1 super packed layer..all the trading figurines are cramped up! lol..but nevertheless i have tons of space for all my nendoroids to come!

i think i shall rearrange my collection list a bit..must subclass them a bit more..too messy..hmm

and oh man..my rozy got a broken wing =(

ok that aside..i just found the midi to the insert song of true tears anime, sono mama no boku de (the one used when the guy was chasing hiromi when she decided to move out). its so much nicer listening to the instrumental version as opposed to the voiced version..it sounds much more soothing

received news from kc our shipment have arrived! i hope the space i planned for rozy is enough..not sure how big the base of her dress is..hmm!

first week of school

finally came home from school..really require some adjusting to after 1 month of slacking..didnt get ANY of my electives yet..zzz..but i sat in for two of them..and they sounded pretty interesting to me..lets hope some idiot whose holding on to them will drop and allow someone more deserving, in this case, me, to have it!

on tuesday i saw the preorder of mikumiku kagami nendoroid on amiami..and in the afternoon when i accompanied kc down to kknm ask about his mugs..just nice the preorder email came in! argh poisonous..nendoroids are..very..seductive..

and yea, i've been trying to get my hands on luna and sun's nendoroids as well..but they come bundled with the ova special edition dvd's..anyone has any recommendations on where is a good and reliable place to source for it?

oh well..time to sleep..didn't sleep well for the past 3 nights

facelift!

got really bored with the custom templates..felt that this place needed a facelift!

gosh..it has really been SUPER LONG since i last touched html..was damn lost just now

oh well..proud of myself..it looks so much..nicer now =D

hmm..didn't get my electives..actually sorta expected it already..just have to wait till add drop period and see if i can get lucky!

hmm..it's quite weird..i don't seem to be able to find someone i can really share stuff with these days..perhaps i'm becoming more of a sociopath than i am consciously aware of..

2009!

a new year! a new start!

went to countdown at esplanade just now..rocks man the fireworks..especially the finale..it was like consecutive launches of huge radii fireworks..and then amidst all these large explosions there was multitudes of small uber-bright explosions..resembles those airplane vertical scrollers we used to play in arcades..when the boss of the level is defeated..it usually explodes in that manner! or perhaps to a more recent note..leshrac's diabolic edict?

but..i..did..not..bring..my..camera =(

and this also means one other thing..4 more days to school.. -.-

and oh..when i took my carton of strawberry yogurt drink out from the fridge just now..noticed the expiry date was 19/01..heh

last week of hols

ahh it's already the last week of the vacation! i had been bumming around the WHOLE month..which..kinda rocks..no commitment no pressure no nothing! but this also reflects the painful truth..that sg is really boring! there were days that i just didnt feel like staying at home, but there's nothing to do out there either..so i ended up just sleeping the day away

not trying to ruin our tourism industry, but at least for me, there's really very little variety in whatever is available to do in sg. it's either casual/window shopping at the few shopping malls, figurine snooping at my usual spots, catching a movie, bowling, occasional ktv..and all coupled with the irritating humid weather..which just makes you wanna stay home instead of just randomly walking around..sometimes when i see tourists..i really feel like asking them to give me some advice on what i can do here..argh!

oh well..i guess i really need another well deserved break..some of them planning to do another tw trip next year..but im not sure if i would get my GSS spot..if i do..i would be flying to japan~ whee!

added some new list for me to track my hmm..progress? also tagged the year of manufacture to the figurines in the collection list for future reference.

ponder..as i was consolidating them..i realised..actually i played quite little games recently..hmm..

went to collect some preorders today..together with some misc purchases

4. saber lion mug (ok i didnt collect today..i just didnt write this in before)

collected jamie's set of ff mini arts vol 3 with tubby also..hmm..the artwork for this set sure look better than the previous 2 sets..maybe cos of rikku? lol

ahh..finally those jokers are coming back to sg tomorrow..wonder if they managed to dabao the stuff i asked them to! if not i need to source out my rozy..sobs..the thought of it..argh!! (want more information just pm me)
